Workflow.
Changes happen where they're cheap.

You approve the words, then every frame as a still, before anything moves. By the time it's animated there are no surprises.

01Call

Thirty minutes on the product, who buys it, and the one sentence a viewer should repeat afterwards.

02Script

Built around that sentence. Every line has a job. You approve the words before anything is drawn.

03Storyboard

Every frame as a still, with timing, motion and sound noted under it. Most changes happen here.

04Animation

The storyboard moves. You review the cut and leave notes against the exact second.

05Sound

Music and effects made for the video and landing on its cuts. A voiceover if you want one.

06Delivery

The 16:9 master, plus the vertical, square and 4:5 cuts and short ad hooks you picked.

In just a few calls, I've gained clarity on the best ways for scaling my startup.

Shamik Sharma

I've spent twelve years designing and writing for B2B companies, and the hard part was nearly always the same. The product was good and it took a paragraph to explain. Auris makes the video that does it in a minute.

I'm on every project from the first call to the last frame. Before the videos I ran LinkedIn for founders and companies, which is where most of these numbers come from.

Questions.

What does a video cost?

Packages start at $2,500 for a 30 to 60 second feature video and $4,000 for a full product explainer. For anything else, the custom calculator above gives a fee from length, formats, hooks and speed. The final number is agreed on the call.

How long does it take?

A one-minute video usually takes about two and a half weeks of work from the call. The calculator gives a delivery date in your time zone, and faster timelines are available for a fee.

What do you need from us?

A call, access to the product or good screenshots of it, and one person who can say yes to the script. That's usually all.

How many rounds of changes do we get?

Changes happen on the script and the storyboard, where they cost minutes rather than days. Once the storyboard is approved you get a round of notes on the animated cut.

Can we use the video in ads and on social?

Yes, it's yours to use anywhere. Pick vertical, square and 4:5 cuts and short hooks in the calculator, or add them on the call.

Do you design products too?

Yes. Interfaces, brand, websites and decks for software companies, from the same studio. The work is on the design page.
